01

Stabilize the colony first

The official loop depends on citizens mining, gathering, hauling, researching and manufacturing. Keep essential work staffed before expanding into extra buildings, and check whether materials are reaching the production chain when a project stalls.

  • Cover resource gathering and hauling
  • Keep food and basic supplies available
  • Expand production after core jobs are stable
02

Prepare before each expedition

Colony production supplies weapons, armor and troops for first-person battles. Review equipment and soldier deployment before leaving, then use expedition rewards to strengthen the next colony cycle. Weapon Cores and Combination Cores can change how weapons and troops perform.

  • Check equipment before deployment
  • Match cores to the build you are using
  • Return rewards to research and production
03

Protect progress and adapt to updates

Early Access balance and progression continue to change. Install current patches, keep automatic save backups, and read the build date before following an old Organic Refinery, Logic Module or weapon tip. The post-launch update also added a Soldier Aging toggle and improved early-game quest rewards.

  • Keep a clean backup save
  • Recheck tips after major patches
  • Use official tutorials in building panels

Player questions

What should I do first in Pax Autocratica?

Stabilize gathering, hauling and essential supplies before expanding production and taking harder expeditions.

How does progression work?

Colony production prepares troops and equipment; expedition rewards then feed research, manufacturing and the next deployment.

Why is an old building guide not working?

Early Access patches can change costs, unlocks and progression, so confirm the guide matches the current build.
